西元1978年(即民國六十七年)由藝術家江清淵先生創立「風野藝術」，草創階段乃是以“畫會”的型態進行運作，集結多位藝術工作者，定時定期共同創作，相互分享藝術新知與藝壇脈動，同時也無私的投入培植新秀的行列，草創初期原名：「風野畫社」；會員們經過三年的磨合，於西元1981年(即民國七十年)將重心移至人文薈萃的新北市雙和地區，可望與更多的藝術同好，能更密集的聯繫與交流，同時期盼能廣羅更多的藝術工作者們，一起落實「風野藝術、藝術人生」的中心思想，而本會更以鼓動美術的風潮、推動寫生風氣、立下藝術風範、建立東方巴黎為協會宗旨。

Found by the artist Ching-Yuan Chiang in 1978, at the primary stage of Feng Yeher Arts, it was operated in the manner of “painting club.” Dozens of artists gathered together to paint and share their art and the art news. At the same time, they also engaged in cultivating young artists. In its early stage, it was called as “Feng Yeher Painting Club.” After three years of blending in, in 1981, they moved their base to New-Taipei City and Zhong-he and Jong-he, a place of cultural activities. They expected to conduct more frequent cultural exchanges with more artists and art lovers. Moreover, they tried to recruit more artists to fulfill the goal of “Feng Yeher Arts, art life.” Our association also regards promoting new art trends, endorsing sketching, setting art exemplars, and  establishing a Paris in the east as our objectives.
